On December 1-3, 2005, Communities for Quality Education (CQE) held a State Legislator Education Summit to bring leading state voices for public education together for in depth discussions on critical education issues facing the states. Each day, state legislators led plenary sessions with the nation's top education policymakers, state elected officials, researchers and opinion leaders.
